Application deadline March 15

Enrollment is now open for the Clinician Quality Academy, our eight-month professional development program designed to support physicians and other clinicians to lead quality and safety initiatives in health care in BC. The aim is to provide participants with the capability to effectively lead quality and safety initiatives in the process of improving health care quality. New for 2019, the Clinician Quality Academy will welcome clinician/administration leadership dyads.

Quality Forum 2019 Pre-Forum Events

The Quality Forum unites hundreds of people working in British Columbia’s health care system to share and discuss how to improve health care quality and patient safety. Our main two days of the Quality Forum are sold out, but we have plenty of other learning opportunities! Our pre-Forum day includes a wide range of exciting events, including two deep dive sessions, three field trips and our annual Health Talks. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible.

Advancing the Surgical Quality Agenda in BC

Game On! Using Gamification to Maximize Motivation and Engagement for Health Improvement

This full-day, interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how motivational theory and game design can engage patients, families and those working within the health care system to improve the quality of care. Participants will get an opportunity to explore how gamification can be used in their own health improvement initiatives and take home some resources to help them get started!
