5 reasons to go digital

Jun 29, 2017 | News

The Providence Health Care 2016-17 Annual Report is posted and ready for reading!

Did you know that it's online and interactive for the first time, ever?

Numbers are animated, photos move in and out, infographs are used. It's pretty neat.

Check it out at annualreport.providencehealthcare.org!

In case you need more convincing, we've come up with five compelling reasons to scroll through PHC's past year in review.

Five reasons to read PHC's digital Annual Report

  • Each story is easily read with super crisp images, easy navigation and most likely a protagonist (or two or three) who you see daily in the hallways of your facility, or work with on a regular basis.

  • You'll be proud and surprised by all of the milestones, accomplishments and general good news stories from the past year. So proud, in fact, you'll want to share them!

  • Conveniently, each story within this year's Annual Report is shared easily. All you need to do is pick your medium of choice -- Twitter, Facebook or email -- and off it goes.

  • You know what else can travel with ease? The 2016-17 Annual Report. You can view it on your phone while you're waiting for your coffee, scroll through it on that tablet you had to pull out for pre-flight screening, you can click through it on your computer at home while Skype'ing with your best friend. Basically, anywhere that you have access to a smartphone, tablet or a desktop, you're able to read about Providence's year in review.

  • Reviews would be awesome - it's our first year doing a digital report and it would be really useful to know what you think about it. Do you like the format? Do you wish we had more of this and less of that? Is it easy to navigate or do you find you're getting lost? Please be in touch with your feedback in the comment section below, or send a note to communications@providencehealth.bc.ca.

 Happy reading!

I liked the digital version rather than a pdf of a print out was easy to read on my smartphone.
