Accreditation Week is finally here!
The Accreditation Canada surveyors will arrive at the Providence Health Care corporate offices on Sunday November 19, 2017 to prepare for a week of Accreditation activities at our sites.
Camille Ciarniello and Liz Flores will greet them to review the documents that different teams have compiled for them.
During this session, the surveyors will review things like our policies and guidelines, and get the first understanding of how PHC works.
On Monday morning, the surveyors will meet with the Senior Leadership Team, with PHC CEO getting things underway with an overview of Providence Health Care.
On Monday afternoon, the surveyors will begin meeting with different groups and visiting our various sites. Click here to see the schedule.
Remember, we are inviting Accreditation Canada surveyors to visit our units and departments.
Don’t be surprised if you see another surveyor who wasn’t scheduled to be in your unit visiting your area. This is not unusual.
When the surveyors visit our units, they will ensure compliance with the Accreditation Canada Standards by interviewing health care providers, looking for evidence of documentation in patient charts and observing interactions among health care providers.
This is our moment to shine and to share with the surveyors all the great work that we do!
